Terms of Service

Effective Date: October 14, 2025

1. Agreement to Terms

By booking a session, accessing this website, or engaging with our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms form a binding agreement between you (“Client”) and MJs Photography LLC

2. Booking & Payment

• A non-refundable retainer is required to secure your session date.

• Full payment is due by the session date unless otherwise agreed.

• Session fees cover time, talent, and basic editing. Additional retouching may incur extra charges.

3. Cancellation & Rescheduling

• Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance.

• Rescheduling is allowed once, subject to availability.

• In case of illness or emergency, Photographer reserves the right to reschedule or refund.

4. Image Delivery & Usage

• Edited images will be delivered via secure online gallery (e.g., Pixieset or ShootProof) within [30 days].

• Photographer retains copyright and may use images for portfolio, marketing, or promotional purposes unless Client opts out in writing.

• Clients receive a license for personal use only. Commercial use requires written permission.

5. Artistic Integrity

• Photographer edits images at her discretion to reflect her style and standards.

• Clients may not alter images (e.g., filters, cropping) without permission.

• Requests for additional edits must be made within 7 days of delivery.

6. Liability

• Photographer is not liable for circumstances beyond her control (e.g., weather, technical failure).

• Photographer will take reasonable care but is not responsible for loss or damage once images are delivered.

• Client agrees to indemnify Photographer against claims arising from misuse of images.

7. Privacy & Consent

• Client information is handled in accordance with our [Privacy Policy].

• Clients may withdraw consent for public image use at any time.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska. Any disputes will be resolved in Plattsmouth courts.
